Job Description: Digital Media Director
Position Overview:
The Digital Media Director will be responsible for leading the digital media strategy and execution within the Communication and Media department. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a deep understanding of digital marketing and media trends, as well as strong leadership capabilities. The Digital Media Director will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, increasing online presence, and maximizing digital media performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive digital media strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
2. Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital media campaigns across various platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, mobile applications, and email marketing.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure digital media campaigns are aligned with overall marketing and communication strategies.
4. Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable insights to improve digital media strategies and tactics.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to digital media, and incorporate them into the organization's digital media strategy.
6. Manage and allocate budgets effectively to achieve maximum ROI for digital media campaigns.
7. Lead a team of digital media professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive their professional growth and optimize team performance.
8. Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to leverage their expertise and resources to enhance digital media campaigns.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to digital media, privacy, and data protection.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience of at least 7 years in digital media, digital marketing, or a similar role, preferably in a leadership capacity.
3. Strong knowledge of digital media platforms, technologies, and analytics tools.
4. Demonstrated success in developing and executing digital media strategies that have resulted in increased brand visibility and engagement.
5. Proficient in analyzing data from various sources to derive actionable insights and make data-driven decisions.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of digital media professionals.
7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
